About
Not to be confused with Castle Grayskull, this is the site of the gray haired wonder, otherwise known as Grayskull, the master of Grayskullduggery

I’m a kiwi used to live in London, UK for the past 10 years. Now back in NZ. Love my snowboarding, downhill mountain biking, wakeboarding, etc. Got back into triathlons. Completed a couple triathlons in 2005, – I wanted to get another one or two under my belt b4 I turned 30 seeing as I was 20 when I did my last race, just before I got glangular fever and it knocked me for 6 for a couple years. Did the London Olympic distance tri in August and the Vitruvian Half Ironman in September 2005. Passed that test, so did the Austrian Ironman (3.8k swim, 180k bike & 42.2k marathon run at the end) in July 2006 (12hrs 28min), and used the London Marathon as a warm up (4hrs 45min).
I had signed up for the Austrian Ironman again in 2007, but after a spell withthe flu, and breaking my arm snowboarding in France in Feb 07, I decided to give it a miss this year, and aim for the New Zealand Ironman in 2009. Now back in NZ and doing Ironman NZ in March 2009.

List of Injuries
I’ve had multiple injuries, operations, illnesses, etc over the years which I’m kinda proud of (some of them, not all);
Sliced the end of one finger off in an old fashioned wind up fire alarm
Shermans disease (not really a disease, just a growing disorder in my pine – makes my discs wedged shape)
Right kidney didn’t work – docs discovered this at age 16 and guessed my ureter was probably kinked at birth. 2 operations to get that one under control. After the ops the docs said that my right kidney was functioning better than my left.
Ripped my knee open playing soccer on the edge of some conrete. Knee sown up with a bit of grass still in it and nearly ended up with gangrene.
Glangular fever
Dislocated right collar bone/clavical after an ankle tap playing touch rugby. 3 hour surgery to bodge it all back together.
Then dislocated left collar bone being hit from behind by a skier in Austria.
…..more to come…….
